
In 2004 as part of my training to be a spiritual director, we were to find a Chrstian spiritual mentor, a person from history, to study for two years. We learned their stories, struggles and prayer life.
Dorothy Day found me. Though I wrestled with her actions from her early adulthood, I soon identified with her spiritual journey. I discovered so much about her prayer life, her discernment, and how God's love continually transformed her. My life is richer because of her story.
